From Junction 32 of M62

   
Miles Leave the M62 at junction 32 (signposted Pontefract, Castleford),  Drop down to roundabout controlled by traffic lights. Go 3/4 way round roundabout
1.23 Turn left at the 3rd exit onto Park Road - A639 Entering Pontefract
0.02 Continue up Park Road and up and over Jubilee way
0.69 At traffic signals (2 sets within 20 yards get and turn left onto the A645 (signposted Knottingley)
0.63 Turn right onto Baghill Lane continue over single lane traffic lights & through traffic calming system
0.52 Turn right onto Chequerfield Lane
0.05  Continue along Chequerfield Lane, you will see playing field to right, however continue to r/bout
 
At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Rookhill Road
Turn left onto Chequers Close

0.03 Turn right into Pontefract Sports & social Club Car Park
  Walk back through play ground to pitches

From A1

. Leave the A1(M) at junction 41 (signposted M62, Leeds, Manchester, Hull), then follow signs Goole, Hull to join the M62 motorway M62
1.69 Leave the M62 at junction 33, then at roundabout take the 1st exit, then merge onto the A162 (signposted Ferrybridge) Entering Knottingley A162
0.83 Branch left (signposted Goole, Pontefract, Knottingley), then turn right onto Pontefract Road - A645 (signposted Pontefract) A645
0.59 Continue forward onto Knottingley Road - A645. Entering Pontefract A645
0.56 Turn left onto Cobblers Lane Cobblers Lane
0.21 Continue forward onto Western Avenue Western Avenue
0.41 Turn left onto Baghill Lane Baghill Lane
0.02 Turn right onto Chequerfield Lane Chequerfield Lane
0.24 At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Rookhill Road Rookhill Road
0.10 Turn left onto Chequers Close Chequers Close
0.08 Turn tight into Pontefract Sports & Social car park Unclassified
  Walk back through play ground to pitches

Please do not park on Chequerfield Lane, numerous vehicles belonging to supporters have received parking tickets for causing an unnecessary obstruction as the bus companies complain they are unable to stop at the bus stop at this location
