Ponte continued their league campaign with an emphatic win over Wakefield Jets. Reece Adams opened the scoring early on for the home side. Bradley Olbison added to the tally shortly after with his first of a brace. Harry Toole netted shortly after half time and man of the match Mo Shar followed with his first for the club. Defender Matthew McConkey wrapped things up before the final whistle to make it 6-0.

Pontefract Sports u9's 2 v 2 Altofts Juniors u9s

Ponte S&S faced Altofts, in what proved to be an evenly fought game that could have gone either way. Ben Tope opened the scoring with a remarkable lob from the right hand touchline to put Ponte one up. Pressure from the visitors earned them an equaliser shortly before half time. Harrison Van der Wal beat the keeper from the narrowest of angles early in the second half to put the home side 2-1 up, but despite Man of the match Sonny Law's commitment and effort at the back Altofts grabbed a late equaliser. Final score 2-2

Pontefract Sports 3 - 0 Ward Green

Ponte kicked off the new year with a home tie against Ward Green. The first half turned out to be a very even contest with neither side finding the net, Brandon Gill and Sonny Law showed great composure at the back, earning them both man of the match and a confident Oliver Tait was always going to be hard to beat in goal.
Second half was dominated by the home side, Sonny Law made an early run from defence and narrowly headed the return ball from Bradley Evans past the upright. The midfield of Ben Tope, Harrison Van Der Wall and Bradley Olbison proved to be too dominant for the visitors but it was down to the left foot of Bradley Olbison to secure the points with a stunning second half hatrick that included a top corner thunderbolt from distance and two other timely finishes past the keeper. Final score 3-0
